Cliff brings over four decades of industrial depth, operating leadership, and institutional investment experience to the fund. After training in electrical engineering at National Taiwan University, he began his career in tech R&D and international sales at Compal and Lite-On. This operating foundation gave him firsthand insight into how technology products are commercialized and scaled globally—a perspective that continues to anchor his investment judgment.

He later transitioned into institutional finance, serving as Taiwan Managing Partner at Crimson and holding senior roles at China Venture Management (CDIB), focusing on growth equity, buyouts, and M&A across Greater China. Cliff’s executive footprint expanded further as Executive Vice President of CTBC Bank China, Vice Chairman of CTBC Venture, and lead for direct investments within the CTBC Koo family office platform. Across these positions, he mastered regional management, corporate governance, and complex cross-border execution.

Today, Cliff plays a senior leadership role within the fund, shaping investment strategy and strengthening the bridges between capital, industry expertise, and regional execution. He offers our portfolio companies long-cycle industrial wisdom and an integrated view of how management teams mature, businesses scale, and enduring value is built across cycles.
